Colorants and Fillers

Different types of colorants made especially for urethanes, epoxies and silicones let the user color any creation. Fillers are often added to casting resins to change the properties of the plastic, lower the weight or achieve a variety of finishes including metal, stone, porcelain, marble, wood, etc.
Colorants and Fillers

SO-StrongTM

Liquid colorants can be added to any Smooth-On urethane rubber, urethane plastic, or urethane foam. SO-Strong™ colorants are highly concentrated, offer excellent dispersion and consistent color.

UVOTM

UV-Resistant pigments for urethane and epoxy offering excellent dispersion and consistent color. A very small amount will color a proportionally large amount of liquid epoxy or urethane.

IgniteTM

Liquid fluorescent colorants for urethane rubbers, urethane plastics and urethane foams. The fluorescent or "glow" effect is maximized under ultra-violet light or "black light."

Silc PigTM

Concentrated standard and fluorescent color pigments used for coloring silicone rubber compounds including Mold Max™ ‘T' Series, Dragon Skin™ and Ecoflex™ rubbers.

URE-FILTM

Disperse easily in Smooth-On materials. They can be added in different proportions to achieve a variety of working properties and effects.

Cast MagicTM

Add an endless variety of bright metallic, glitter & color effects to finished castings. Powders are also good for reproducing sculpture and adding different cast effects to models and prototypes.

Metal Powder

Cold-Casting is a term used to describe the process of mixing metal powder with a resin and applying the mixture into a mold. The finished casting gives the appearance and weight of solid metal.

Quarry ToneTM

Specially blended powders that can be added to some Smooth Cast™ liquid plastics or liquid rubbers to create realistic stone effects in finished castings.

Glow WormTM

Phosphorescent powders that can be added to liquid plastics, rubbers and foams to create castings that glow in the dark after being charged with light.

CryptolyteTM

Translucent liquid additive that causes cured Smooth-On rubbers, plastics or foams to glow a bright blue under a focused ultra violet light source (blacklight).
